The Seagrove Oyster Farm, located in the pristine waters of Doyle Bay, AK, is approximately 27 acres in size. Our oysters are grown suspended in cages, which makes them plump and briny without any tidal residue.

There are 1,960 oyster cages on the farm site, arranged in 8 sections with 8 lines per section and 30 cages per line. The cages are turned every few weeks depending on the growth of the oysters.

The farm can culture 5-6 million oysters. We should have as many as a million beautiful half shell Alaska oysters available later this year. Each oyster bag contains 500 oysters, and six bags are in each cage. However, when the oysters attain a greater density, their population is reduced by half. Approximately one-third of them will reach the market size by next summer.
